It’s wild seeing al-Sharaa go from fighting US occupation to shaking hands with Trump—just shows how quickly principles get traded for power. Instead of real Islamic governance, now it’s all about deals with America and talk of normalization with the Zionists—what a disappointment.

This is honestly wild—Trump cozying up to a former jihadi just because he’s in power now, and of course, pitching a Trump Tower in Damascus like it’s just another business deal. It’s disturbing how quickly violent pasts get swept under the rug when there’s money and political leverage involved. We should be talking about justice and accountability, not real estate and backroom deals with people who have blood on their hands.

Maybe if we’d minded our own business in the Middle East from the start, we wouldn’t be shaking hands with yesterday’s terrorists just to keep the chaos in check.

Trump meeting with a former jihadi leader just shows how far we’ve strayed from our principles—America used to stand firm against terrorists, not wine and dine them. It’s hard to see how cozying up to a man with that kind of past serves our values or our national security.
