It's heartbreaking to see our own people suffer like this—our nation needs to prioritize disaster preparedness and take care of our citizens before relying on outside help.

Really heartbreaking to see so much loss, but this is a clear example of how government mismanagement and lack of property rights leave people exposed to disasters like this. If local communities and individuals had more control over their land and resources, they’d be better prepared to protect themselves and respond quickly when tragedy strikes.

This is just heartbreaking—no one should have to lose their life or loved ones because of where they live or a lack of resources. Disasters like this show how urgent it is for the global community to step up with humanitarian aid and real support, not just words. We need to make sure relief reaches the survivors fast and push for long-term solutions to help these communities withstand future disasters. Everyone deserves safety and dignity, especially in moments of crisis like this.
