That’s a real disappointment—Kemp was probably our best shot at flipping that seat back to red. Now we’ll need someone with real statewide appeal to step up, because Ossoff is beatable if we rally behind the right candidate.

Honestly, I’m relieved Kemp’s not running—he would’ve been a tough opponent, and Ossoff has actually worked for regular people in Georgia. Now the GOP might end up with an extremist like Marjorie Taylor Greene, which just shows how out of touch they are with everyday folks. Hopefully, this gives us a better shot at keeping the seat and pushing for more progressive policies that help working families.
