The suspects, both reported fans of the singer, allegedly planned to use improvised explosives at the event, which drew over 2 million people to Copacabana Beach. Police operations resulted in no explosives being found, and the concert proceeded safely. The swift action by police, in coordination with the Ministry of Justice, prevented what could have been a major tragedy.

Maybe if we didn’t live in a society where police and the state have all the power, people wouldn’t feel driven to such desperate and destructive acts in the first place.

Glad the police acted quickly—keeping people safe should always come before politics or celebrity hype.

This is exactly why we need strong law enforcement and strict security measures at big events. If the police hadn’t acted quickly, who knows how many innocent people could have been hurt or killed? It just goes to show that sometimes you have to sacrifice a bit of freedom for the sake of public safety. Honestly, I think there should be even tougher controls and surveillance at these kinds of gatherings. People complain about government overreach, but I’d rather have a heavy police presence than risk another tragedy.

Thank goodness the police acted quickly to keep everyone safe—everyone should be able to enjoy music and express themselves freely without fear of violence.
