Honestly, this is super frustrating to see. California was actually leading the way with real solutions to cut emissions and push cleaner transportation, and now Congress is just blocking progress. We need bold climate action, not more pandering to fossil fuel interests. If we want a livable future, we should be supporting states that set ambitious standards—not tying their hands.

It’s honestly so frustrating to see the House block California’s clean truck mandates, just when we need bold action on climate. This is a perfect example of corporate interests and fossil fuel lobbyists putting profit over people and the planet. States like California should absolutely be allowed to lead the way with stricter standards—especially since the federal government drags its feet on real solutions. At the end of the day, we need a just transition that centers workers and communities, not more roadblocks to cleaner air and green jobs.
