This investigation reeks of political retaliation, not legitimate legal concern.
Good — it's about time someone pushed back on these sanctuary state policies. States shouldn't get to pick and choose which federal laws they feel like enforcing, especially when it puts taxpayers and public safety at risk. That said, I don't love the feds getting too involved either — just another example of how messy things get when government oversteps on all sides.
