Just what we needed—another layer of government red tape to exercise a basic constitutional right.

It’s about time states started taking real action to curb gun violence—this Colorado law is a solid step in the right direction. Nobody’s trying to take away responsible gun ownership, but common-sense rules like background checks and safety courses should be the bare minimum. Hopefully more states follow suit instead of caving to gun lobby fearmongering.

Here we go again—Democrats chipping away at our Second Amendment rights under the guise of “public safety.” This is nothing but government overreach meant to disarm law-abiding citizens while criminals still get guns with no problem. Requiring a permit and safety course from the state just adds more red tape and control. Colorado used to stand for freedom—now it’s just turning into California 2.0.
