Trump acting like a wannabe dictator over tariffs is just another example of why we need stronger checks on executive power—especially when working families and farmers are the ones paying the price.

This is exactly why no single person should have that much power over the economy—tariffs are just hidden taxes that hurt consumers and businesses. Congress trying to rein in executive overreach is long overdue, but honestly, the government shouldn’t be meddling in trade to begin with.
