I am concerned about the strategic location and what it could be used for in the logistics of the military arm of our country, and how it is looked at by our adversaries.

Using military force to grab land like Greenland is exactly the kind of big government overreach and empire-building that libertarians can’t stand.

This is absolutely outrageous—Greenland is not some piece of real estate for imperial powers to fight over. Not only is this a blatant disregard for the sovereignty of the people living there, but it also ignores the critical need to protect one of the world’s last relatively untouched ecosystems. The Arctic is already under threat from climate change, and now Trump wants to militarize and exploit it for resources? This kind of thinking is exactly what got us into the climate crisis in the first place.
