Ukraine continues to diminish the resources of both Russia and North Korea. Why do we even question supporting Ukraine?

Because I am morally against sending tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of people to their deaths, to prop up a corrupt regime (Ukraine), even if it weakens a geopolitical adversary.

Ukraine should somehow get out the message to North Korean soldiers that they are welcome to surrender and defect, and enjoy a life in Ukraine, that even in time of war, is 1,000 times better than life in North Korea.

"Why North Korean Soldiers Are Prepared to Die in Russia"

Maybe because ANYTHING is better than living in North Korea?

The smartest thing these NK troops could do is surrender or defect as Sim is trying to encourage.

Good luck Sim!

As many military historians and philosophers have noted, Russia's military doctrine of centralized command and control combined with a rigid adherence to outdated tactics, techniques and procedures has hamstrung their war aims in Ukraine. Their brutality and propaganda can only go so far with such incompetence and endemic corruption. Reality eventually catches up.

So, what do they do? They double down by bringing in a fresh batch of similarly brainwashed, underequipped, and undertrained troops who also lack language skills and any emotional connection to the war at all. They are cannon fodder. As WWI and WWII showed, the Russians have never cared about sacrificing their own people in mass quantities. And they won't show any remorse about sacrificing anybody else's either.
