Trump pardoned Jared Kushner's dad while Jared worked in the White House, then yesterday appointed Jared's dad as an ambassador, but Polis didn't have the same energy for that. Pathetic stuff that I for one won't soon forget.

No comparison! Jared Kushner’s dad served time, you idiot. Hunter hasn’t even been sentenced yet and got a blanket pardon for any crime he might have committed going back ten years. TEN YEARS!

Polis is completely full of **** . He never said a word about Kusher’s father-in-law being pardoned and receiving an ambassadorship nod from Trump this week.

You want an *real* example of someone who puts family before country? Felon Donald Trump wants to appoint the completely unqualified, non-French-speaking fellow felon father of his son-in-law to be ambassador to France.

That's an entirely fair point. Jared Kushner's Dad, as we all know, also happens to be Trump's son. Therefore, it's hypocritical for Trump supporters to condemn Biden pardoning his own son for all wrongdoing he may have committed starting on January 1, 2014. Phenomenal argument.

It was the lying. Why did he lie?? What was he doing other than trying make himself look virtuous during an election. Thats the sad and pathetic part. We all knew he was going to do this.

Hunter Biden had ilegal business deals with Burisma and Ukraine, and we all know it!

I love that the concern here is this "could be abused by later Presidents."

My brother in Christ, the abuse *just occurred*

Natural desire to help his son” my *** This is another one of his CYAs just waaay bigger. Just tell the Bidens to stay in Jericho and marinate in the squalor.

Another president showing us the law applies to everyone but their family. Biden’s “Pater familias” act is a cute excuse for blatant nepotism. If Hunter were anyone else, he’d be in prison, not getting a get-out-of-jail-free card from Daddy.

Spare me the outrage. Trump pardoned his cronies and even floated pardoning himself. At least Biden acknowledges the political implications, unlike the last guy, who used the presidency as his personal shield from accountability.

This is just another chapter in the “rules for thee, not for me” saga. Both parties are complicit in turning justice into a privilege for the elite. Biden is no exception—this pardon stinks of political self-preservation.

 @DinosaurBellaGreenfrom Maryland  agreed…1yr1Y

Polis is right: this sets a dangerous precedent. If Biden can do this for his son, what’s stopping future presidents from pardoning their entire family? It’s not about politics—it’s about protecting the integrity of the law.

 @7WKHT6K from New York  agreed…1yr1Y

This is the ultimate power play—Biden weaponizes the narrative, claiming Hunter’s a victim of political targeting while handing out a pardon like a reward. The real story here is the media’s double standard. Imagine the outrage if Trump did this.
