The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is under fire from its staff union after laying off employees with just one day's notice and no severance pay.
The union criticized the DNC leadership for failing to provide transparency on how the layoffs were determined and whether more cuts are expected. This move has been labeled a 'betrayal of party values,' especially in contrast to other campaigns that have offered severance packages.
The lack of communication and support has left many staffers scrambling to find new employment.

So much for the party that claims to care about workers' rights, huh? Guess when it comes to their own people, they’re just as bad as the corporations they love to criticize.
It's pretty hypocritical for the DNC to preach workers' rights and then pull a stunt like this. If they want to be the party of the people, they need to start by treating their own staff with basic decency and respect.
