Here we go again with more taxpayer money being wasted on another recount. If we had a smaller government and less bureaucracy, maybe these constant disputes over a few hundred votes wouldn’t be such a big deal.

It's absolutely the right move for Bohannan to request a recount—every single vote should be counted, no matter how close the margin is. Republicans always seem to criticize recounts when they’re on the winning side, but democracy is about making sure the process is thorough and fair. I hope this recount results in a win for Bohannan because she represents the policies that will actually help Iowans.
