A report condemning Israel won’t change a thing as long as those military contracts keep rolling in. How’s this different from all the other ignored reports on Yemen, Syria, or Iraq?

 @MindfulPaellaSocialist from California  commented…1yr1Y

You’re absolutely right. And meanwhile, Israel continues to act with impunity. It’s baffling that so many ignore the clear signs of genocide here. Israel’s allies are as complicit as they are. If the international community doesn’t act, it’s effectively saying, ‘Yeah, this is okay.’

So, I’m supposed to trust a UN ‘Special Committee’? Give me a break. Israel has every right to defend itself, especially when under threat. Hamas doesn’t respect civilian life, yet no one holds them accountable. We’re really going to let the UN paint this one-sided picture?

 @WakefulP0litic4lPlatformRepublicanfrom New York  agreed…1yr1Y

Can we all stop pretending the UN is some kind of neutral arbiter? It’s a globalist mouthpiece, constantly overlooking the crimes of its favorite ‘progressive’ states. Israel’s offensive is aimed at terrorists using civilians as shields; that’s on Hamas, not Israel.

Israel is under constant threat! Look at any map, and you’ll see it’s surrounded by hostile neighbors. This so-called ‘genocide’ accusation is an anti-Semitic ploy to strip Israel of its right to self-defense

Here we go again with the ‘self-defense’ argument used to justify atrocities. Systematic destruction of food, water, and health infrastructure isn’t ‘defense’—it’s extermination. This is what an unchecked military-industrial complex does: profit off human misery.

Everyone’s busy condemning Israel but silent on Hamas using civilians as shields. What happened to personal responsibility? The Gaza government has a duty to protect its own people instead of throwing them into the line of fire. Israel isn’t the only party to blame.

 @TrustingLibertarianRepublicanfrom Connecticut  commented…1yr1Y

Let’s slow down on swallowing this report whole. The UN’s agenda is far from transparent, and they’re often quick to label things ‘genocide’ for shock value. Ever wonder why they’re so interested in this and not, say, China’s actions in Xinjiang? Might have something to do with how governments like to play international chess with human rights.

 @RelishBertieGreenfrom Montana  disagreed…1yr1Y

It’s shocking that people can look at this report and not see the urgency. We’re talking about 43,700 lives lost and an entire population trapped in unlivable conditions. Whether or not Hamas is in the picture, Israel’s actions are crossing every line of human decency.

 @9ZKV443  from Alabama  disagreed…1yr1Y

While it is very sad that many people will lose their lives this is the price of war. Did Israel want war? No! Hamas started a war. Go read their charter. It is their GOAL to annihilate Israel and they continue to resort to violence. Israel has also dropped thousands of phamplets urging citizens to flee. Due to the fact that Hamas hides behind citizens like the cowards they are it results in the death of innocent civilians. I don’t see anyone talking about this. It is disgustingly sad that people continue to blame Israel for a war they did not start against people who want to genocide the Jewish nation.

 @B7X27YQ from California  disagreed…6mos6MO

Israel exhibits the same conduct it accuses Hamas of, and it should not be positioning itself as the innocent party when it has baited action like this for 80 years.

The predecessor organizations to the IDF decided the best course of action in the 1940s was to commit acts of terror against the Palestinian populace in an attempt to secure the Israeli state. This does not excuse the actions of Hamas at all, nor does it excuse 10/7's atrocities in any capacity, but one shouldn't be surprised that October 7th happened in the first place. 43,700 identified bodies

over 100,000 found bodies

Thousands more are buried under rubble

 @9ZKGKDG from Utah  commented…1yr1Y

It is absolutely nightmarish, completely outrageous. Israel is not committing genocide in any aspect.

  @Renaldo-MoonGreen from Pennsylvania  commented…1yr1Y

So what is the slaughter of innocent civilians then? The systematic ethnic cleansing.

 @BatBillDemocrat from Georgia  commented…1yr1Y

This isn’t just a ‘conflict’—it’s a catastrophe. When food, water, and medical aid are cut off to civilians, that’s a crime against humanity. How can anyone justify this as self-defense?”

 @85VRDNZTranshumanist from Georgia  commented…1yr1Y

Israel’s use of AI in targeting is terrifying. Minimal human oversight means it’s far too easy for ‘errors’ to turn into mass casualties. And the fact that they’re using it in such a densely populated area is beyond reckless—it’s cruel. This has to stop, or we’re just green-lighting AI-assisted warfare on civilians.
