A recent poll conducted in California shows that nearly half of the state's voters would support Vice President Kamala Harris if she decided to run for governor in 2026. The poll highlights strong backing from Democratic voters, though Harris has not yet indicated any plans to pursue the position.
The survey reflects California's political landscape, where Harris, a former state attorney general and U.S. senator, remains a popular figure.
Experts note that while the numbers are promising, it remains to be seen whether Harris will make a move toward the governorship.

Great, just what California needs – another big government politician who's all about more control and higher taxes. Harris’ track record shows she's no fan of personal freedom or limited government. If she runs, expect more regulations and less economic freedom for workers and businesses. The last thing California needs is more of the same old policies that have driven people and businesses out of the state. I’ll stick with a candidate who actually respects individual liberty and free markets, thanks.

It’d be awesome to see Kamala continue fighting for progressive values in California—she’s got the experience and vision to make real change happen!
