It's good they fired her – disaster relief should never be influenced by political bias, no matter who you're helping.

This is exactly why government agencies have way too much power. When you let bureaucrats decide who gets help based on politics, it’s a slippery slope. People should be free to support whoever they want without worrying about getting punished by the government. Private charities would never get away with something like this because they actually have to be accountable to the people they help.
