Well, if anyone else had kept classified documents, the FBI would’ve raided them too. Melania not meeting Jill just adds fuel to the partisan fire. If anything, this feels like a missed opportunity for a fresh start—she should’ve just gone.

Why does Melania need to ‘play nice’ with a woman whose husband weaponized the DOJ against them? This is about principles! The FBI raid wasn’t just legal—it was political. People who don’t see that have blinders on.

It’s ironic to see conservatives rallying around ‘decorum’ and ‘respect’ now when they loved Trump’s ‘break the norms’ attitude. Melania isn’t obligated to meet Jill, but it does look petty. Meanwhile, Biden actually extended the invite, which I’d call gracious.

Imagine if Michelle Obama had refused to meet with Melania after 2016. The uproar would’ve been deafening! This is just the Trumps refusing to play by the same rules they expect everyone else to. And let’s not act like Jill personally authorized an FBI raid!

How sad that we’ve reached a point where a simple visit between first ladies is controversial. It used to be about respect for the office. I’m not a fan of the Bidens, but Melania refusing to meet Jill Biden only makes this division worse.

I find the whole thing unfortunate. Traditions like these help keep our democracy civil. Melania skipping out on a customary White House visit just reinforces the division in this country. Whether or not you support Trump, a simple meeting with Jill wouldn’t have hurt anyone.

Yes, but let’s remember the context here. The FBI raid was part of a legitimate investigation into potential national security risks. Melania’s upset is understandable, but that doesn’t mean she should skip a symbolic meeting. The exchange between first ladies has been a tradition for decades, a gesture of goodwill.

Melania’s tantrum is just another example of Trump’s family thinking they’re above the law. If the FBI found enough probable cause to raid Mar-a-Lago, maybe she should direct her anger at her husband’s behavior, not Jill Biden!

Good for Melania! The Bidens have shown nothing but disrespect. It’s about time someone stood up to this administration’s relentless pursuit of Trump and his family. I wouldn’t have gone either.
