Typical Trump – ‘You don’t praise me, you don’t get access.’ This just shows his thin skin. He’s treating the presidency like a reality TV show, where anyone who criticizes him is cut off. Imagine if this becomes the norm in a second term.

Exactly. This is a full-scale attack on press freedom. No president in modern history has been this petty or authoritarian about controlling the media. Banning journalists for reporting on a white nationalist? That’s a new low.

Is it really an ‘attack on the press,’ though? Trump’s just calling out biased media. They’ve been slamming him since day one, so why should he roll out the red carpet for them? Media’s not entitled to VIP access if they’re going to constantly undermine him

I’d argue it’s about basic respect for a free press. The media’s job isn’t to flatter – it’s to inform the public. Trump’s thin-skinned response only makes him look weak. Leaders need to handle criticism without blocking out dissenting voices.

It’s deeper than Trump. This whole spectacle of blacklisting reporters shows the hypocrisy in politics. They all whine about the ‘free press’ until it’s their own actions in the spotlight. Both sides play the game when it suits them.
