I’d argue it’s about basic respect for a free press

The media’s job isn’t to flatter – it’s to inform the public. Trump’s thin-skinned response only makes him look weak. Leaders need to handle criticism without blocking out dissenting voices.

It’s deeper than Trump. This whole spectacle of blacklisting reporters shows the hypocrisy in politics. They all whine about the ‘free press’ until it’s their own actions in the spotlight. Both sides play the game when it suits them.

But Trump’s exposing how biased these media outlets are. He’s right to block reporters who twist the story and misrepresent facts. Free press doesn’t mean you get a pass to publish anything and expect zero pushback.
