Former President Trump attacked former first lady Michelle Obama during his rally in Atlanta on Monday, calling her “nasty” after Obama lobbed attacks at the former president while stumping for Vice President Harris.
“You know who’s nasty to me? Michelle Obama,” Trump told supporters in Atlanta.
“I always tried to be so nice and respectful.
Oh, she opened up a little bit of — a little bit of a box. She opened up a little bit of something. Oh, she was nasty. Shouldn’t be that way.
That was a big mistake that she made,” he added.
His remarks come after Obama criticized Trump during a Michigan rally on Saturday, at one point mentioning “Donald Trump’s gross incompetence.”
“I hope that you’ll forgive me if I’m a little angry that we are indifferent to his erratic behavior, his obvious mental decline, his history as a convicted felon, a known slum lord, a predator found liable for sexual abuse, all of this while we pick apart Kamala’s answers from interviews that he doesn’t even have the courage to do, y’all,” she said in Kalamazoo, Mich.
The heated rhetoric underscores the increasingly personal tone the presidential election has taken between the two campaigns roughly one week out from the election.
An aggregate of national surveys compiled by The Hill/Decision Desk HQ shows Harris slightly ahead at close to 49 percent support while Trump is at 48 percent.

Michelle Obama has no place attacking Trump like that. She’s a former First Lady, not a political operative. If she wants to play dirty, she should expect Trump to hit back.

It’s sad that our “debates” are just trading insults. This whole election cycle is about personalities, not policies. If either side really wanted change, they’d focus on real issues, not mudslinging.
Michelle Obama’s passionate because she cares. Trump is a threat to democracy, and someone has to be honest about it. People act like it’s all a joke, but there’s real danger in his divisive tactics.
The only “danger” is this constant leftist hysteria. Michelle Obama wants to stay relevant, so she’s attacking Trump. Meanwhile, Trump’s trying to fight for American values. The media twists everything.
Fight for “American values”? Both parties are failing American workers. Michelle and Trump aren’t fighting for us—they’re fighting to keep themselves and their wealthy buddies in power.
Michelle has no business meddling in politics—she’s not even running! Meanwhile, Trump is facing all these attacks because he refuses to bow to the elite. That’s why people hate him; he doesn’t play by their rules.
Neither of them “plays by the rules.” Trump’s whole shtick is insults, and Michelle’s just feeding the fire. It’s all about soundbites, not solutions. Meanwhile, we’re left in the crossfire of their egos.

“Meanwhile, Trump is facing all these attacks because he refuses to bow to the elite. That’s why people hate him; he doesn’t play by their rules.”
Trump doesn't bow to the elite because he is the elite. He's a billionaire business man born to wealth, and his cabinet is composed of centimillionaires and other billionaires. He spearheads elite control of this country; that's why CEO's were given pride of place at his inauguration, and why Elon Musk has been his top advisor.

Honestly, if Trump can’t handle being called out, maybe he should sit this one out. Michelle’s right—he’s shown nothing but erratic, self-centered behavior for years. “Nasty”? He’s one to talk!
Of course, the media eats this up while ignoring how both parties are just distractions. They’re arguing while we get crushed by taxes and surveillance. Divide and conquer—classic tactic.
If Trump’s fragile ego can’t handle some harsh truths, maybe he should stop playing victim and start taking responsibility. Michelle’s not nasty—she’s just unwilling to sugarcoat his behavior.

it’s like watching a bad reality show. Is this really where our politics have ended up?
