Oh, fantastic, another case of government funds going down the drain—literally! Walz is handing out "butt kits" to people who are homeless? And we’re supposed to pretend this is helping?

Honestly, if you can’t see the value in harm reduction, you’re missing the point. The purpose is to reduce OD rates and give these folks a chance to survive. It’s a lot better than just leaving them to die on the streets, which is apparently the conservative “solution.”

I’d love to know how this is supposed to be a “moral” use of taxpayer dollars. Walz and his liberal cronies are out here handing out kits to facilitate drug use. I guess handing out more tax money for nonsense is the best idea they have?

Imagine the outrage if this was a Republican governor doing the same thing. The hypocrisy is astounding. Harm reduction, my foot—just a fancy way to gloss over the fact that they’re letting addiction run wild.

Harm reduction has been proven to work in reducing overdose deaths and connecting people to health services. If the alternative is leaving people to self-destruct, then yes, these kits are necessary, and it’s time we face that.
