New York has been ranked as the 10th most politically engaged state in the U.S. for the 2024 election cycle, according to a report by WalletHub.
The study analyzed voter registration statistics across all 50 states. In addition to its political engagement, New York also faces significant infrastructure challenges, ranking 11th in the nation for the number of bridges in need of repair, with nearly 99.46% of its bridges requiring attention.
These rankings highlight both civic participation and pressing infrastructure issues in the state.
