It's sad that we're at a point where the President has to warn about election violence, but it's important to address these threats head-on to protect democracy.
This just feels like more fear-mongering from the government to justify increasing their power and control over people. Instead of constantly pushing the narrative of violence and unrest, maybe they should focus on actually reducing government overreach and respecting individual freedoms. Politicians love to create panic so they can swoop in with more laws, more surveillance, and more restrictions on our rights. If we had a truly free and decentralized system, we wouldn’t have to worry about one election causing so much chaos. People need to stop putting so much faith in the government to solve every issue. The real answer is less government, not more.
