“Individual freedom?” How about the individual freedom to live? How about freedom not to be ripped apart limb by limb in the womb, or starved, or to have your brains sucked out and flushed down a sink? This is disgusting.

It’s about personal choice and respecting women’s autonomy. You can’t just impose one moral view on everyone, especially in such personal matters.

Supporting abortion rights is a complete betrayal of what they once stood for.

Honestly, I’m not that surprised. Their positions have always been about what’s politically convenient, not about true conservative principles.

Fact: Melania Trump did NOT say: “I am pro abortion.”

The quotes in the article make it quite clear that she is pro-choice. She says "no compromise" to "individual freedom," then says, "It is imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions."

Trump’s family supporting abortion? Unbelievable. I guess the social conservative image was all for show after all

They’ve always been more about appearances than any real, deeply held beliefs

If "individual freedom" is such a fundamental principle, then why does that freedom stop when it comes to the unborn child? The same logic Melania uses to protect a woman's autonomy should extend to protecting the life growing inside her. Autonomy shouldn’t mean the right to end another potential life. If a society values freedom, shouldn't we prioritize the freedom of all individuals, including those who haven't had the chance to be born yet?

Where does "individual freedom" stop being about choices and start becoming about responsibility?
