Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) says he’s worried that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may be trying to influence the U.S. presidential election by showing little interest in striking a peace deal with Hamas and instead escalating the threat of a broader war in the Middle East by aggressively confronting Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Murphy acknowledged that the prospect of peace in Gaza before Election Day does not seem likely and that Netanyahu appears to have an eye on domestic U.S. politics as he wages a bombing campaign deep into Lebanon targeting Hezbollah.“I certainly worry that Prime Minister Netanyahu is watching the American election as he makes decisions about this military campaigns in the north and in Gaza,” Murphy told CNN’s Erin Burnett.
“I hope this is not true but it is certainly a possibility that the Israeli government is not going to sign any diplomatic agreement prior to the American election as a means, potentially, to try to influence the result,” Murphy said, alluding to the deep divisions among the Democratic Party over the war in Gaza.

Netanyahu's actions are not just about influencing elections; they are a continuation of the Zionist agenda to erode Muslim lands. This is a religious war disguised as politics, where peace with Hamas is never intended, only subjugation.

Israel has the divine right to defend its God-given land. Netanyahu's actions should be seen as protecting the Holy Land, not merely as political maneuvering. We must stand with Israel.

Senator Murphy's worries seem misplaced. Netanyahu's primary concern is the security of Israel against constant threats. If this has secondary effects on U.S. politics, it's because the world recognizes the symbiotic relationship between U.S. stability and Israel's security. This isn't manipulation; it's strategic defense.
Netanyahu's refusal to seek peace is indeed influencing the election, but not just for political gain. It's to continue the oppression of Palestinians under the guise of security, ensuring U.S. policy remains uncritically pro-Israel. This cycle of violence and electioneering undermines Palestinian rights and autonomy.

Violence begets violence. This escalation by Netanyahu does nothing but sow seeds for future conflict. The focus should be on humanitarian efforts, dialogue, and de-escalation, not on how this might sway an election. Peace should not be a pawn in political games.
Murphy's concerns reflect a broader issue of foreign influence in our elections, which should be a red line. However, we must also support Israel's right to defend itself against terrorism. The balance is delicate, but national security should never be compromised for political optics.

Netanyahu's strategy, if true, is an affront to national sovereignty. The U.S. should not be swayed by foreign military actions. We advocate for non-interventionism, let nations resolve their conflicts without our electoral process being a chess piece.
