Anambra LG Elections: APGA Leads as BVAS Faces Credibility Concerns

The Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC) has announced that nine political parties, including the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), will participate in the upcoming local government elections.

However, the commission has decided not to use the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), citing concerns over its reliability and credibility. The APC has opted out of the election, leaving APGA to face other opposition parties.

The decision to exclude BVAS has raised questions about the transparency of the election process.
