While it's good that crime victims are being heard, let's not forget that justice reform shouldn't mean going soft on criminals. We need tougher laws, not more leniency. If we actually enforced the laws we already have, maybe we wouldn’t have so many survivors in the first place. The focus should be on punishing offenders harshly to deter future crime, not on root causes or rehabilitation. Let’s not lose sight of what keeps our communities safe—strict law and order.
