Bob and Sharon Reed, both 77-year-old retired teachers who live on a farm in central Pennsylvania, had high hopes for the debate between Ms. Harris and former President Donald Trump. They thought that they would come away with a candidate to support in November.
But, Ms. Reed said, “It was all disappointing.”
The couple ended the night wondering how the costly programs each candidate supported — Mr. Trump’s tariffs and Ms. Harris’s aid to young families and small businesses — would help a couple like them, living on a fixed income that has not kept pace with inflation. They said they didn’t hear detailed answers on immigration or foreign policy, either.
Immediate reaction from political analysts favored Ms. Harris, whose attacks appeared to rattle Mr. Trump.
The euphoric scenes from the summer of Democrats celebrating her entry into the race did not reflect the reality in many American homes. Twenty-eight percent of likely voters said in the latest Times/Siena poll they felt they needed to know more about her. The biggest question on their minds, the poll found, was what her plans and policies would be.

There are no undecided voters. There are simply Trump voters who are too embarrassed or ashamed to admit to anybody that their voting for Donald Trump.
Polls don't account for this shadow population. Don't take the election for granted.. Go out and vote. Tell your friends to get out too.
I think the one thing "undecided" voters know for sure is that they get a lot of attention for doing nothing (including bothering to pay attention).

There comes a point when these stubborn "undecideds" need to actually look into candidates, instead of complaining that every detail of policy wasn't laid out in 90 minutes.
They wanted the fine print from Kamala, but accepted “a concept of a plan” from him.
Lets be real, these arent actuallly undecided voters, just people looking for justifications to do what they know is morally dubious.

The biggest question I had was why Trump was given way more airtime for his repetitive rants. Small wonder some people came away hungry for more details about her policy proposals. She was not given equal time to discuss them.
