Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., will not attend the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago this week, he said in an interview with The Free Press.
The senator has drawn the ire of his Democratic colleagues recently for continuing to deviate from some party norms.
Longtime Democratic strategist James Carville this month called for Sen. Fetterman t to be “dealt with” for his interference with Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate selection.
“One of the great backstabbers in modern Democratic politics is John Fetterman, but I’m going to wait until after the election to deal with him,” Carville grumbled via his podcast. “He’s somebody that must be dealt with and must be dealt with in real time.”
Sen. Fetterman is one of the most vocal supporters of Israel in the Democratic Party, a stance that conflicts with his most progressive colleagues.
Speaking to this, the senator told the publication “I keep saying, just like the convention, it’s not about me.”

I don't blame him. It's going to be an Israel/Jew hate-fest.

All because folks are asking Republicans and Democrats to stop taking part in genocide & apartheid.
No genocide, no apartheid. Come clean here...you just hate Jews.
@HeronPenelopeGreen2yrs2Y
Fits perfectly within the legal definitions of both. Sorry reality doesn't agree with your thoughts & feelings.

Yes, facts don't care about your feelings. Such as the fact that Israel is just defending itself against a group that wants to destroy her.

Oftentimes this is how people become republicans. They figure out that the Democratic Party is evil and actually tries to stack the deck against standing up for what is right. They become ostracized and align with others that support the same right things they do. Standing up against terrorists, evil behaviors to children and others, crime, etc.
