Former President Trump announced Friday night that he has agreed to Fox News' proposal for a debate against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump said the debate would be held on Sept. 4 in Pennsylvania, although the location of the event has not yet been determined.
The former president also noted that an ABC News debate previously scheduled against President Biden before he suspended his re-election campaign had been canceled, citing his lawsuit against that network and one of its hosts, George Stephanopoulos.
"I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th," Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. "The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant, and I am in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, thereby creating a conflict of interest."
A campaign official for Vice President Kamala Harris accused Donald J. Trump on Saturday of scheming up a Sept. 4 debate on Fox News to avoid a debate scheduled for six days later on ABC News that Trump had committed to before President Biden dropped out of the race. “We’re happy to discuss further debates after the one both campaigns have already agreed to,” Michael Tyler, the Harris campaign’s communications director, said. “Mr. Anytime, anywhere, anyplace should have no problem with that unless he’s too scared to show up on the 10th.”

That's not what happened. Trump just confirmed he's too scared to debate Harris and if you look at the original letter, Fox never mentioned half of what this weirdo is suggesting. He is now demanding a Maga rally.

Biden dropped out. New candidate VP Harris’s team needs to renegotiate debate terms.

He's a coward who can't show up for an ABC debate & instead of calling him out, go along with his latest clown show charade. I cannot believe how the media just goes along with his vile, his ugliness & division. What a freak show.3932404

He had already agreed to (what would be considered by a normal person) ridiculous standards to debate with CNN as host.
He should be met with the same, equal treatment to debate on Fox even though they’re not really for him either. Nothing to do with the person and everything to do with the equal opportunity. He was voted for by the people after all, no one voted for Kamala as president.

He committed to the ABC debate. He is a private citizen. She is the Vice President. He doesn’t get to make the rules. Stop treating him with kid gloves and tell your readers the truth, that he is a spoiled rotten convicted felon who thinks everything revolves around him.

Has kamala taken a single question since she was installed as Democratic nominee without a single vote ?
