Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign pledged the likely Democratic presidential nominee would not ban fracking, rejecting what it called “false” accusations by Donald Trump that she would prohibit the technology if elected president.
Fracking technology has helped U.S. drillers reach record oil and gas output.
The response by the Harris campaign came after the former president brought up statements Harris made during her 2019 primary run pledging to ban fracking at a Minnesota campaign rally on Saturday.
“Trump’s false claims about fracking bans are an obvious attempt to distract from his own plans to enrich oil and gas executives at the expense of the middle class,” the Harris campaign said in a statement. “The Biden-Harris Administration passed the largest ever climate change legislation and under their leadership, America now has the highest ever domestic energy production.”“She would not ban fracking,” a campaign spokesperson said in a follow-up email to POLITICO.

Trump is lying?
In a 2020 CNN town hall Harris said she was in "favor of banning fracking."
Politico is calling something Harris is on record and on video several times over saying she is in favor and will ban fracking, as a "Trump accusation."
I used to think when Trump said "Fake News" it was hyperbole, until I saw it in action.
I wonder how well it will work now that the Hunter laptop turned out to be real.
Especially now that they are saying demonstrable and easily provable lies and deleting old articles, as well as recieciving leaked talking points that they follow from the DNC. It’s much worse than I thought as well, Trump kinda nailed it on the head with fake news.

We want to hear it directly - loud and clear - from her mouth to our ears.
"I solemnly swear that I will always support fracking all across this great nation and will never under any circumstances, seek to ban its practices."
-VP Kamala Harris

Oh, don't you worry, they won't "ban" fracking. They will make it so cost prohibitive as to make it impractical to do. The other trick they might use is the sue and settle game they have played in the past. They have an outside group sue the EPA, and the EPA settles to their will
