China's obstinance about this little island is frightening.

Let Taiwan be independent and have a seat at the U.N

There was a path 20 years ago to a unified democratic China. But that path was destroyed by the communist party and is not coming back.

"Taiwan, in trying to maintain peace with Beijing, should put trust in Chinese leader Xi Jinping"

That is a crazy statement by an old guard Taiwan politician, I doubt the majority of mainland Chinese citizens trust Xi Jinping. Look at what happened to Hong Kong when they trusted the 1997 agreement.

Of course the majority of mainland Chinese citizens stand in line with CCP and President Xi. The censorship system successfully prevents people from knowing what has really happened in Hong Kong. Most people only learned that Hong Kong has returned to good governance and many “reactionary" pan-democratic supporters fled the city to UK or Canada but live a terrible life abroad.

Xi and Putin are counting on Trump. The GOP must go to the waste bin of history.

As is Netanyahu, Orban, and others.

Please. There is a reason that places from Gaza to Afghanistan to Ukraine became hellholes under Biden. He has dangerously flatlined our defense spending after Trump had boosted it.

His “leadership” is weak and incompetent.

Xi is watching and waiting. The likes of he, Putin and the Ayatollah fear Trump.

If Trump gets back in he'll replace all the experts with flunky loyalists. The Biden administration players are actually pretty competent.

If your country was in a similar position as Taiwan, receiving foreign arms amidst threats, how would you want your government to respond?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Do you think it's fair for a country with a larger arsenal to demand arms control discussions with a lesser-armed nation?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Should the global community prioritize arms control talks over territorial disputes, why or why not?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

Is it justifiable for a nation to halt peace talks over arms sales to a third party, especially when global security is at stake?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2yrs2Y

How do you feel about one country influencing another's ability to govern itself and make international relationships?
