Nikki Haley to Speak at RNC as Republicans Unite Around Trump

Nikki Haley, Donald Trump's final major challenger in the presidential primary, will now speak at the GOP convention, a person familiar with the decision said.

Haley wasn't included in the original program, and a representative for Haley previously said she wasn't invited.

But with Saturday's shooting, Republicans have called for unity and the image of her attending the convention will buttress that, the person said.

A spokeswoman for Haley didn't immediately respond to a request for comment Sunday.

In January, Vivek tweeted that Nikki Haley refused to drop out because she was waiting for her donors to eliminate Trump so that she could become the nominee...

If Trump was taken out yesterday, she would most likely have been nominated at the convention this week.
