Honestly, Governor Abbott seems to be juggling a lot right now, and not in a way that's really reassuring. His response to Hurricane Beryl's aftermath was slow off the mark, which is concerning given Texas' history with natural disasters. It's kind of telling when your own state's news outlets are questioning your commitment to vital programs, like the South Korean guest worker initiative. And while promoting Texas abroad is important, I feel like the focus should be on solving the pressing issues at home first, like ensuring our infrastructure can actually withstand a storm.

How do you think the role of a governor should balance between addressing state disasters like Hurricane Beryl and participating in international relations on tours?

Considering the criticism Governor Abbott faces for his reaction to the South Korean guest worker program, do you believe cultural diversity or state labor needs should dictate immigration policy?
