Decades ago, Democrats used to pick Presidential nominees that can survive two terms

Long-term thinking used to be the official policy of The DNC, and now what we're seeing is politics based solely off short term gains that don't benefit the American public at all.

Agreed, Just like how we now handle the economy itself. Short term gains over long term stability. No one gives a **** about anyone but themselves.
