It's clear that the SNP's obsession with independence and the cult of personality around Nicola Sturgeon have finally caught up with them. Voters are evidently looking for practical solutions to their day-to-day issues rather than endless debates on sovereignty. Labour's gains in Scotland are a testament to the public's desire for a shift towards more grounded politics. Nicola Sturgeon's leadership style and her party's single-issue focus have been soundly rejected by the electorate, and it's high time for a serious rethink within the SNP.

Honestly, it's about time we reflect on where we're heading as a party and a movement. Nicola Sturgeon has done a lot for us, no doubt, but this election was a wake-up call. We've been too caught up in the aura around a single leader and lost sight of the broader independence mission. Seeing Labour take back seats that should've been ours stings, but it's a clear sign we need to regroup and rethink our strategy. It's not just about an apology from Sturgeon; it's about reassessing our approach to truly serve Scotland's quest for independence.
