It's pretty concerning that Bill Spadea is still on air while running for governor, seems like a clear conflict of interest and a way to skirt campaign finance laws. The state really needs to reconsider its hands-off approach if they care about maintaining a fair election process.

Bill Spadea's situation is a perfect example of how the market should decide what's fair in media and politics, not government regulations. If listeners or advertisers have an issue with his gubernatorial run while hosting a show, they're free to tune out or pull funding, but the state shouldn't interfere with his speech.
