It's disheartening to see the Supreme Court's conservative majority take such a narrow view on what constitutes bribery and corruption. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson's criticism of the Snyder v. United States decision highlights a concerning direction where accountability for public officials seems to be diminishing. Her stance is a beacon for those of us worried about the integrity of our institutions and the importance of maintaining stringent checks on those in power.
