Vice President Kamala Harris and First Lady Jill Biden are visiting battleground states to commemorate the two-year anniversary of the Supreme Court's Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade, signaling a strategic mobilization of voters around the issue of abortion rights.
The Biden campaign is leveraging this anniversary to highlight their stance on reproductive rights, amidst ongoing national debates. In a poignant move, Hadley Duvall, a woman who was raped by her stepfather as a child and has since become an abortion rights advocate, will join Jill Biden in Pennsylvania to campaign on this critical issue.
Duvall's story, which she shared publicly in a campaign ad last fall, underscores the personal and painful realities behind the political discussions on abortion restrictions, particularly concerning exceptions for rape and incest.

How would you feel if a law dictated what you could or couldn't do with your own body?
@9PNYGM52yrs2Y
With abortion, it is not about what you can and cannot do with your own body. The baby that is inside a woman’s body is its own body that cannot speak for itself. Therefore the law is not dictating what you can or cannot do with your own body, it is looking out for the child that is within your body.

I would be okay with it if it has my best interest in mind. Even then, it does not matter how I feel, it matters if the restriction is good or not.
Can't believe the Biden administration is using the Dobbs ruling anniversary to push their extreme abortion agenda. It's just a way to distract from the real issues and rally their base. Parading around with activists isn't going to change the fact that there's a significant portion of the country that values life and wants more restrictions, not less.
@HeronMikeyLibertarian2yrs2Y
Sounds like the Biden administration is using the Dobbs ruling anniversary to push a big government agenda, instead of respecting individual liberties and the complex nature of state rights.
It seems like the Biden Administration is trying to find a balanced approach to the abortion rights discussion, especially with such powerful personal stories at the forefront of their campaign efforts.
It's about time someone in power stands up for our right to make choices about our own bodies. The Biden Administration's efforts to rally support for abortion rights, especially by sharing Hadley Duvall's heart-wrenching story, really puts a human face on the devastating impacts of the Dobbs decision.
