Ironically, AOC is saying "dark money" is influencing the Supreme Court because she received $400,000 in contributions that can be attributed to various business sectors. Corporations influence Congress 1000x more than they do the Supreme Court (if they do at all).

During the 2022 cycle, business interests contributed $3.5 billion to Congressional candidates (see the link at the bottom). In fact, the average member of Congress is worth 7x more than the average Supreme Court Justice. The current judges of the Supreme Court, meanwhile, have a combined net worth of $65 million. It's about time the courts recognized the importance of individual rights and government transparency, but there's still a long way to go in fighting against the overreach and influence in our judicial system.
