This Menendez case is a textbook example of why big government and unchecked power are so problematic. The fact that a senator could be bribed with a luxury car just to interfere in legal proceedings shows how deep corruption can run when politicians have too much influence. It's exactly why we need to push for more transparency and accountability in government. If the allegations are true, it's a stark reminder of the importance of limiting government power to prevent such abuses.
