I feel this has set a huge precedent, in some ways good, but also there is a negative connotation tied to this as well. Accountability is important, and if a person commits a crime they should be held accountable, regardless of their status or position of power.

It also felt less like an authentic criminal process and more about making points, *** for-tat as well as just having so many people who were sending out “flying monkeys” to really feel like it was in fact a fair trial vs loud arguing without many people being able to see the grey areas.

It’s a sham, the judge coerced the jurors to convict, all of the evidence was from people who have lied under oath and convicted of other crimes.

I believe that all of the Presidents from the last 30 years should be in jail for war crimes, so it's disappointing that when we finally got one it was because of something ultimately negligible like this. I sometimes get why the far-right complains about it being a "witch hunt," because ultimately they're all criminals anyway.
