It affects them negatively if you have to "stay tough" for too long and cant find help.

Men will often inhibit their emotions, which then can lead to unfulfilling relationships that lack true communication.

A lot of men think that they have to act or do things a certain way because that's what is seen as "normal."

It positively effect the men around me so that we do not lose our nature referring to our masculinity that women tend to bring down because it is toxic. We are losing men to women whom don't have a clue of a male's life or common sense.

Every individual has unique talents, strengths and weaknesses. There is too much emphasis on gender. Look at the individual's value, don't stereotype gender roles!

Toughness is a very large part of being a man not being tough is very bad if you are a guy. Men where built to be tough and relentless and thats how they should stay even if it is difficult to do.

Putting gender on specific traits builds up shame for experiencing them. I think that vulnerability and compassion are important for all sides to experience. By suppressing any emotions, whether they be more positive or negative, we can end up turning all of those motions into more violent means. I believe that the emphasis on toughness for men makes them more insecure and actually resort to violent tendencies when they feel any strong emotion.

I have seen it positively affect the people around me in many ways. They have grown up to be good honest, funny people.
