I don't like the old racist/sexist/homophobic ideologies of conservatism

Racist? You wanna know who's racist? The libtards are with their DEI and other racial quotas!

Something that has always been incredibly important to me is equality between people regardless of who they are, what they look like, etc. I tend to stay away from conservatism in a lot of matters because I don’t like some of the ideas that it promotes and I don’t feel that it adequately covers all my opinions.

There are some people who don't deserve the equality. Violent people definitely do not. There are also certain morals people must live up to, and when they fail to follow these morals with poor choices they don't deserve the equality and they have no one to blame but themselves. For example, being LGBTQ are all immoral and poor choices deserve consequences.

#2 Engaged Conservatism

Equality does not mean treating everyone kindly and give them freedom, it means treating everything that does (bad thing) in (situation) the same way. IE, if a person commits murder out of malice they should be thrown in jail, regardless of how rich they are, their race or gender.

Also, how are LGBTQ people immoral? Assuming everyone involved is not related, fully consenting while being of an age capable of consenting with no cognitive impairments, and they arent harming anyone else then there is no problem.

While I do admire your articulate, manful, and polished prose and rhetorical brilliance, as well as your great admiration for upholding the integrity of our great language through refraining from dispensing profanities, I must lamentably disagree with you on this one issue. But still I would encourage to persist in acquainting yourself with the beauties of our language, that your already admirable skills in writing it may be all the more multiplied.

Conservatism is very old and traditional and doesn’t fit with today but to each its own.

I don't mind progress. Technology, worker protections and conditions are all good progress. But racial quotas to try to get rid of "inequalities" are a big no no. LGBTQ is a mental illness and should be treated as such, especially the T part. The LG are just stupid and shouldn't be able to marry because it is wrong.

.. we uphold moral values and principles... inequality is unacceptable... must approach it with justice and love...

I support liberty, and will not surrender the tiniest part of it for the greatest change in favour of equality. That's not the government's job.
