While you are entitled to share your opinions on things, it should be clear that there are very differing consequences to what you say. and if what is said is directly wishing harm and spreading inaccurate statistics and information then it should be considered hate speech

no, I think if the hate speech is about racism or is encouraging violence to a certain race I think the person should be punished.

if the hate speech is threatening, it should not be protected by the first amendment

Yes, I don't like it but as long as it does not threaten violence its protected. I also don’t trust the government to define the boundaries of hate speech because they can call something hate speech when its someone who has a different opinion.

All speech should be protected by the first amendment and "Hate Speech" is meaningless at that point.

I don't like people using hate speech, but as long as they don't threaten violence they it is protected by the first amendment.

As Stated in the Constitution- Congress Shall NOT take away freedom of religion, speech, press, protest or petitions from its citizens. However if the speech will lead to an unsafe environment for its citizens then it needs to be addressed
