Single-payer healthcare is a system where every citizen pays the government to provide core healthcare services for all residents. Under this system the government may provide the care themselves or pay a private healthcare provider to do so. In a single-payer system all residents receive healthcare regardless of age, income or health status. Countries with single-payer healthcare systems include the U.K., Canada, Taiwan, Israel, France, Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.

Yes, this system guarantees healthcare for everyone private companies should not be able to profit off of healthcare
@9KZ4VDRConstitution 1yr1Y
yes, and the cost should be at cost, no profit, no incentives, etc. No loopholes. Private healthcare should stay in business for those who wish to pay for profit healthcare, but no government monies should ever cross over to the private sector under this system.
@9FSMGYFConstitution2yrs2Y
No, but restrict the amount insurance companies make and make it the most affordable for the most people
@9B9FR6FConstitution2yrs2Y
No, all healthcare non-profit
@9B5BV9ZConstitution2yrs2Y
Lived it in the military. You wont like it. You lose all choices. Quality and availability decreases. Everyone gets equally poor care. Waste Fraud and Abuse accelerates. Buyer beware.
@95C9P92Constitution3yrs3Y
No, not until the government can prove it can run both Medicare and military healthcare at a minimized loss or at a profit.
@8ZDJ95DConstitution3yrs3Y
No, I would rather pay for my own expenses.
@8Z3DDPLConstitution3yrs3Y
Yes, only for basic coverage only for legal citizen.
@8XXZJDSConstitution3yrs3Y
No, and abolish single-payer healthcare
@8XS3JRKConstitution3yrs3Y
Yes, at the state/local level, and with the option for private insurance.
@8XCFX25Constitution4yrs4Y
Just 4 words why not...
Department of Veterans Affairs.

@8SXMXB7Constitution4yrs4Y
Yes, but allow people to either use private healthcare or none as an alternative. People who choose to opt out should be exempt from the tax as well.
@8S4QMGBConstitution4yrs4Y
yes as long as it easily affordable for every single person
@8PXQ3F7Constitution4yrs4Y
No, you would need much more funding which would tax the American people greater.
@8MP95X9Constitution5yrs5Y
Constitution does not grant such power to the national government
@8MDJVZ8Constitution5yrs5Y
I don’t mind as long as we the taxpayers can choose to withdraw the funding be taken from out pay. We shouldn’t be forced to pay for anyone’s health unless we choose to
@8FS56R3Constitution5yrs5Y
Healthcare insurance should work like any other insurance and be affordable. The hospitals gouging prices should be governed so people can get back to normal after a major event rather than pay for it for the rest of their lives.
@8DFTTC2Constitution5yrs5Y
Citizens and politicians should have the same coverage.
@8CQPWCLConstitution5yrs5Y
Yes, only if the government had higher health standards on food to compare the obesity rate.
@8CJKJLHConstitution5yrs5Y
I would like to see our health care insurance go back to how it used to be. Companies used to be able to offer healthcare to their employees at no additional fees or charges.
@9C9GJZWConstitution2yrs2Y
Yes, but allow gap insurance similar to Medicare supplement plans today.
@4V4VGHMConstitution2yrs2Y
No, I think health insurance should be mandatory but it should be low cost and insurance companies shouldn't be able to deny anyone ever. If a person can't afford health insurance, then they should still be covered. Adult men of able body and mind should have to work full time in order to receive any kind of government assistance unless they're pursuing education for their career. Those who should be working and don't should still receive health insurance but they should be institutionalized and forced to work.
@98D3VHBConstitution2yrs2Y
It should be available but not required
@8WY6GXJConstitution4yrs4Y
No, but if that person can pay don't stop him/her
@8TQ89PDConstitution4yrs4Y
I really don’t know much about this so I can’t really answer.
@8QZMXZJConstitution4yrs4Y
No, privatize all healthcare.
@8FB9R83Constitution5yrs5Y
This should be a state issue. At that level, maybe.
Yes, but people should be allowed to opt out.
