Yes, but do not use Boeing, they been found to undermine safety procedures to gain profit in recent years and cannot be trusted to implement this in a cognitive capacity.

 @9H95XYW from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Air Force one should be up to date but not the biggest priority when the country is in a big amount of debt

 @9FJWX8PRepublican from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but not at the expense of newly acquired taxpayer funds as the military budget should cover at least half of the defensive vehicles' upgrades.

  @YauntiCommunist from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

No, have the DOT review the fleet annually to determine when upgrades are needed

 @9S4FVBY  from New York  answered…9mos9MO

No, Air force one should be downgraded. No need for it to be that large and expensive. Our leaders have become removed from the people they serve

 @9LTSFBPRepublican from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Yes I do think it should be upgraded but using our current military budget we don't need extra for that, but with rising tensions and the fact other countries are growing we need to be the strongest

 @9L7N2XG from New York  answered…1yr1Y

Yes and increase it more to show the superiority of American government and the citizens of the country.

 @9F3Y9F3 from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

No we should focus on getting the resources to make the Air Force One cheaper

 @9DHJ633 from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

 @9PSG882 from New York  answered…11mos11MO

Yes, but it should be on the bottom of the priorities, should be cost effective, and should NOT be a deal with Boeing due to their criminal activity (whistleblower retaliation) and lax safety standards.

 @8ZG5424 from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, it is an issue of national security to insure the safety of the president.

 @8Y2S6D2 from New York  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but only if the upgrade is necessary for the Air Force to function as an elite force

 @8TJBTD5 from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

This is up to the president, secret service and the secretary of defense.

 @8SFDGVBIndependent from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

If funding is approved. That's up to the USAF to submit the requisition.

 @8RN8MDD from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes because the President should have an upgraded aircraft to travel on. However, the price must be dramatically reduced before the new planes are constructed.

 @8RFQ657 from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

 @8QJD48N from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but military procurements and upgrade costs need to be controlled by further regulating corruption and political pork that often greatly inflate the costs in favor of defense contractors, lobby groups, and politicians.

 @8QCBVHB from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

I believe we are good as we are and could use the money for other issues.

 @8Q7DJX5 from New York  answered…4yrs4Y

not until it needs to be upgraded and upgrade the current fleet dont rebuild it

There are multiple Air force one planes not just one. Money can be used better elsewhere but if one needed an upgrade I would not oppose it.

 @8MBC2JP from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

No, that's just another waste of taxpayer funds. Put those funds into social and welfare programs.

 @8M46CVH from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

As a taxpayer, I'd like to know what my money needs to be going towards to determine if it's a necessary upgrade or not.

 @8JHRKKB from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

No, and the President's powers should be reduced to the level of a Constitutional monarch

 @8HBDDH8 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Keep It safe for the president and passengers but no don't totally upgrade

 @8DCPXD4 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8D4MNS2 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Depends on the situation. If absolutely needed then yes, but otherwise no.

 @9CPV7VL from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

 @98J98PTWomen’s Equality from New York  answered…2yrs2Y

Yes and no, I feel like it shouldn't be our top priority compared to other things.

No, air force one is a title anyway, if the president gets in a fighter jet then it becomes air force one.

Yes and govt should be able to purchase at cost. Companies shouldn’t profit off the needs of our military and govt in general

 @8F3MHJ9 from New York  answered…5yrs5Y

Not if taxpayer dollars from hardworking middle and working-class people are going to pay for it.
