Yes. Trigger warnings show sensitivity to students and allow them to make their own choices to protect themselves if needed without the instructor compromising the content of information.

I agree with college being a place to challenge students thoughts and opinions, but I also know there may be students that have a legitimate reason for needing to sit something out. It's about balance.

I don't think they should be required to be provided, however, I do believe this should be something that is encouraged and in collaboration with their mental health counseling center.

Safe spaces should be provided in the sense that universities should strive for a campus free from hate and violence, as well as providing spaces in the university that are dedicated to promoting safe and healthy outlets for their students to express changes they want to see in their university.
Clubs that support creating safe spaces should be encouraged.
Teachers should include in the syllabus a run down of topics their students should be expected to engage with so students can either speak with the professor or leave the class before these topics come up in lecture.

Yes but this should be covered under accomodations for PTSD not simply for someone's personal sensitivities

Yes, trigger warnings in classrooms but safe spaces should not be the standard across all classes. Different classes require different levels of comfortability when discussing the reality of topics.
