Yes, and ensure that they are 18 years old and that they live in the state and that they are a LEGAL citizen.

 @9Y9R9BJ from Virginia  answered…8mos8MO

ID should be required, but provided at the cost of the state. If you do not have ID, there should be other means of identification, like Social Security card. Also when you turn 18 you should be automatically registered to vote just like you’re registered for the draft.

 @9TFK8S8 from Virginia  answered…10mos10MO

Yes, but guarantee that every individual age 18 or older receives one at no cost. Not everyone drives so state issued IDs should be given freely to all individuals.

 @9N6CWYY from Virginia  answered…1yr1Y

Voter ID should be handled on a state by state basis. It can only be allowed if voter ID is free to obtain to prevent a violation if the 15th and 24th amendments.

 @92H47QP from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, voter ID legislation is supported by a significant majority of Americans, including people of color.

A form of ID that proves citizenship but also shows picture to decrease voter fraud.

 @8MW6C9B from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

No, but some form of government issued identification should be required

 @8GSMBZ7Independent from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

 @8DN328N from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

yes, but make it easier for people to get IDs and also allow other forms of photo ID like student IDs

 @8CDYGDM from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes but make any paperwork/fees involved cheap, easy, and accessible- especially focused on poor and racial minorities.

 @99X8MLS from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

I believe some sort of valid ID should be a requirement for voting, though allow said ID to be easily affordable and obtainable.

 @9957CC6 from Virginia  answered…2yrs2Y

 @96VPD8V from Virginia  answered…3yrs3Y

No, Look for other authentication alternatives first and depends on what is used as authentication already.

 @8S6SYCT from Virginia  answered…4yrs4Y

A- there should be modifications to make voter registration automatic and easy, as well as obtaining photo IDs, as identity isn't just a card you use to buy product, it's a summary of you as a citizen.

 @8DJD46Z from Virginia  answered…5yrs5Y

Yes because you should have to identify yourself and if you're the required age to vote.
