Since inflation is rising most Americans who get paid minimum wage can’t afford basic living rights, even if they work just as hard if not harder than everybody else.

I completely agree with this comment about minimum wage. As prices for basic necessities rise, minimum stays the same. It has gotten to the point that we can barely afford rent.

Other countries provide similar goods to those in America at same or lower prices while paying their employees a higher wage.

Every individual should be granted a minimum wage that guarantees that they will be able to survive. The minimum wage ensures that they are at least being paid a fair amount, and aren’t being completely taken advantage of.

The people in the working class, especially the ones who actually make minimum wage, need money.

The minimum wage now barely covers anything with the government's constant inflation.

If you think there should be no minimum wage I just, feel like you hate human beings. I can't explain truely but just, that feels inhuman.

The people who need more money are the people with minimum wage jobs, not the rich people with the higher paying jobs.

Getting money into the hands of the class who spends it funnels more money into the active economy, as opposed to letting it stay in the hands of the wealthy, who hoard and stagnate it. Wealth only trickles down when the wealthy are bleeding.

With inflation running rampant throughout the country we need to give the working class a higher wage to match this competitive rise in prices.

 @B47J57L from New York  disagreed…4mos4MO

People need to put food on the table. Institute price ceilings that block corporate price gouging, and the inflationary effect will be minimal. This way, people can afford to live.

 @B3TLLPNDemocrat from Ohio  disagreed…4mos4MO

People are being forced to work multiple jobs we should not be slaving for hours and hours on end for just the right to eat and live

 @B2BYZVGProgressive from Michigan  disagreed…6mos6MO

Honestly, I don't really care. If people can't see that they're being conned out of their money by the wealthy there isn't much room to argue the point.

 @9FYWZYFDemocrat from Georgia  disagreed…2yrs2Y

The unemployment rate and overall state of living would increase if minimum wage increased due to more people having access to more money.
